Guinea-pigs join us at school!
Old Priory is lucky enough to have the space to home 4 New Guinea-pigs our chickens have now gone over to the southenway federation of schools in plymouth and are enjoying living alongside many other animals.
We are now the proud owners of Guinean-pigs and the children are extremely excited about these new friends.
The children learn to both take care of and become responsible for the animals welfare. They will let them out in the morning and put them to bed, feed clean and get lots of cuddles!! Guinea-pigs love attention and being stroked so no doubt they will enjoy being read to: the intention for a new perspective on 'reading aloud!
