This beautiful area of the school grounds has been left to nature. There are some older and newer varieties of apple tree, some woodland trees and a wildlife pond.
In the spring the wild garlic and bluebells create a woodland feel under the cool shade of the trees.
Wildlife flourishes there with nesting birds, butterflies, dragon flies, newts and many other species making use of the rich habitats.
There is a wooden seating under the trees providing an outdoor classroom in a relaxing and enjoyable setting. This area is rich in resources for multiple curriculum based activities.
