The sensory garden was designed and built to provide the children of Old Priory with an outside space of special interest. The sensory garden is split into 5 areas. The 5 areas are linked with 5 senses Sight, Smell, Hearing, Taste and Touch.
Each area includes activities linked with each of these 5 senses.
It is hoped that the children will use this space for quieter activities during lunch time such as reading, drawing, exploring the activities or just sitting and talking with friends.
This year all classes have completed a quiz about our senses and have been shown how to use the activities.
